Spanish for Seniors
Did you know that…
-
It’s never too late to learn another language. While it is easier when we are young, we can still learn new tricks at any age! Your memory might not be as good, but you’re wiser.
-
Learning a language keeps your brain working.
Scientists have demonstrated that keeping your brain active helps to offset age-related mental decline. Remember, the quickest way to become an old dog is to stop learning new tricks.
-
Even a little Spanish can make your trip to a Latin country much more rewarding. And, it can be a big help in some parts of the United States as well.
-
Spanish is fun. You’ll enjoy our classes while reaping the benefits. A lot of words are almost the same in Spanish as in English so you probably already know more Spanish words than you realize.
Since you are visiting our web site, you are probably already looking for one or more of these advantages. If you are interested in a class during the day tailored to your pace and with flexible scheduling, try our private lessons or perhaps our Spanish for Travelers. If you are less than 75 years old and are able to work as part of a small group, then our small group evening classes are another option. If you are age 75 or older, we ask that you take a private class rather than a group class.
Our classes are lively, and you'll be actively engaged throughout.
